Reading Questions, Lecture 21 (11/24)
AQuery is a query language that is specially suited to efficiently evaluating queries where the data is ordered -- as it commonly is in streaming
As you read the papers, consider the following questions:
- How does the data model and / or semantics of AQuery differ from SQL?
- What does AQuery do to improve the performance of query processing over sequence data?
- How do the techniques discussed in AQuery relate to the papers we have read on streaming database systems?
